Year 7 have had a smooth transition into secondary school and lots of new friends have been made. Students have especially enjoyed the freedom that being in secondary school gives them; particularly the choice of food they get in the canteen and the wide selection of books that they can borrow from the library which are available via an online form. They have quickly adapted to learning new subjects and studying different techniques in practical subjects has been met with great enthusiasm. Experiments in Science have been a highlight. The students have found using the Chromebooks helpful and I have been impressed with how quickly they have  adapted to submitting work via Google Classroom; something most mastered even before the Chromebooks arrived! It has been a busy term with a lot to take on board and I wish everyone a restful half term.  Mrs Ryan
