It was a sultry summers evening when the KM Charity Team “Big Quiz” rolled into Maidstone at the Mote Park Leisure Centre.
What was important to the MGGS PFA was the fact that the PFA had been chosen as one of the charities to benefit from this fundraising event! The Quiz takes part about 3 times a year around the country with a local charity benefitting! So a big night for us!
Some 50 plus teams of eight filled the sports hall at the Leisure centre as they battled their way through six rounds of 10 questions including such brain teasers as the previous National Lottery Bonus Ball number to the name of the canoeist who faked his death in the History round!
There were some 14 plus teams representing and supporting the MGGS PFA and the committee has been tasked with purchasing and provision of the Ploughman’s Supper provided to all attending.

We believe our support raised somewhere in the region of £7,000 of which we will get something like £1,700 for our efforts! A big thanks to all those who supported us and hope to see you at the next one!
