To celebrate Black History Month, the DT department has explored and displayed the life and works of a range of influential fashion and textiles designers from across the globe from Virgil Abloh, to Dapper Dan, and Stella Jean. 

Students have been invited to design an outfit befitting customary traditional dress from around the world. Designs can be for any gender or any age. Students are to submit a fashion illustration as a hard copy (allowing for different textures and mediums to be used) to the DT department by Friday 22nd October.

Fashion illustration templates are available on each DT Google Classroom or from the DT department if required. Entries are welcomed from all students, including sixth form. 

Entrants from each key stage will be in with a chance of winning Amazon vouchers. Winners will be announced in early November. Good luck!
