Year 7 Students have been challenged to spend as much time as they can reading books that have been made into movies. In addition to reading at home, they have been given some extra reading time during their English lessons. They are logging the time they spend reading so that they can share it with their sponsors.

The form who raises the most money will get to watch a film whilst each enjoying a Krispy Kreme donut, the individual student who raises the most will have their name in the new building and every student who raises over £10 will be entered into a draw to win a chocolate hamper.

The challenge ends on Monday, so there is still plenty of time to take the top spot, but this is how the leaderboard looks currently:

1st 7C, 2nd 7A, 3rd 7F, 4th 7S, 5th 7G, 6th 7N.
