Students’ Summer Fair 2022
On 1st July some of our Year 12 students, together with the Development Trust Ambassadors are planning to have a summer fair for all students to raise money for the MGGS GRIT Project. As part of the event we will be hosting a raffle and also a penny wars challenge.
Penny Wars
Each house will have a collection bucket which will be taken aroundform rooms on the week commencing 27th June. For each copper coin collected, the value of the coins will be added to the house total and for every silver coin the value of coins will be deducted from the house total. For example, If a bucket contains 10 x 2p coins and 1 x 5p coin, the net total will be 15p. At the end of the week, the house with the most net value will be awarded 125 house points, the house in 2nd place will receive 100 house points and the house in 3rd place will receive 75 house points.
Raffle
Are you or your business able to offer a prize for our raffle? We appreciate that these are tough times for everyone, andif you are able to donate a prize, we would be extremely grateful. Please contact lbrewer@mggs.org.
Book Tombola
If you have any, age appropriate, fiction books at home that you are willing to donate to our book tombola please take them to the book drop box at student reception or email lbrewer@mggs to organise a drop off.
