The Year 7 A and B teams travelled to Invicta on a beautiful spring afternoon to play netball. Despite heavy traffic, the music onboard geed the girls up and they arrived raring and ready to go. Both teams struggled a little in the first quarter but then got the measure of their opponents. The A team in particular began to dominate in defence and attack. They eventually stretched out to a resounding 11-1 victory!

The B team match was a much tighter affair, with never more than 1 goal in it. They began to dominate the midcourt but struggled to get past some very effective Invicta defending. However, their patience and determination was rewarded with a tight but very satisfying 4-3 win. Well done girls!
