Maidstone Grammar School for Girls held its annual GCSE Presentation afternoon on Thursday 3rd February. Students currently in year 12 were presented with their GCSE certificates and prizes were awarded for Achievement, Overall Commitment to Studies at Key Stage 4, Dance and Art Work.
We were very pleased to welcome Dr Anne Arnold as our guest speaker. Dr Arnold was previously Deputy Headteacher at the school from 1989 to 2004. Mrs Tipples, Chairman of the Governing Body and Dr Arnold presented certificates and prizes to students. They were joined by parents and carers and other distinguished guests. Councillor Daniel Moriarty, the Mayor of Maidstone, honoured us with his presence.
