It’s back again! What has now become an annual “Easter Chocolate Hamper Draw” will see one lucky winner walk away with a mind boggling amount of assorted chocolates to share with their family and friends – or maybe just keep it for themselves! As for previous years, we are also having a second and third prize in the draw! So an even bigger chance of winning something! Last year we raised an amazing £2,114 for PFA Funds…. can we beat it this year?
The event is held purely online and could not be easier to take part in by just visiting our dedicated fundraising page that has been set up on Virgin Money Giving http://tinyurl.com/h5v4lrc
If you choose to take part then for every £1 you donate your name will be put into our special “Virtual Hat”. So if you should donate £5 it means your name will be in the hat 5 times: for £20 it will be there twenty times.
The collection of your donations will run until Saturday 12th March 2016 at 12 noon, and then the draw from the Virtual Hat will happen just after 12 noon on 12th March. The winners will be notified and they will be able to collect their chocolate winnings from the School Reception from that day onwards.
Please also remember that if you are a UK taxpayer then your donation of each £1, if Gift Aided, will mean the PFA will raise even more money. So please do Gift Aid your donation if you are eligible.
Please also feel free to share the above link with all your friends and family members too, especially if you use social networks like Facebook and Twitter.
Please also note you can make your donation anonymous, however please do make sure you let us have your email address or a contact telephone number, as without this we will not be able to enter you in the draw in the Virtual Hat!
If you have any questions or queries please contact the PFA by email at parentsandfriends@mggs.org. Good luck, remember your donations need to be made by 12 noon on Saturday 12th March 2016.
We hope you can support this fundraising initiative so we can continue to support the School and their exciting future projects.
Yours sincerely
Peter Chapman Chairman of the PFA and Anthony Gilks Treasurer of the PFA
