This year in Year 10 textiles, we have been working with the theme of “Surfaces”. Each one of us has come up with our own sub-theme, for example: under the ocean, inside the body, nature, and decay. We have all taken part in group activities and solo creative research such as group fabric manipulation and artist research. We have used many techniques such as PVA glue samples, flour and paint mixtures, and others have been used all throughout the journey, and here are some of the sketchbook pages we have created. Some people have worked on their painting skills in our lessons. There are some pictures of their work below.
