Have you ever wanted to experience what it would be like to explore the deep blue sea, to walk around a volcano site or to blast off into outer space? New to 2016, Google has announced its Pioneers Expeditions Programme where teachers can take students on a virtual adventure to immerse themselves in their surroundings.
We reported on Friday 23rd September that Google visited MGGS to bring this programme to the whole school; teachers were able to bring their classes to the hall to experience one of over 200 expeditions. This was thoroughly enjoyed by both teachers and students with the latter being able to learn not only about the theory of a place but also to relate it to what they could see and explore in the world on their own.
