“In Borneo, we saw lots of different animals ranging from orangutans to crocodiles. We worked as a team and managed to help some locals in Kopel to plant trees and also create areas for new trees. We slept in hammocks which was an experience. Lots happened on the trip from seeing sun bears to finding a leech in someone’s shoe. It was certainly an experience we won’t ever forget.” Isla J

“During the summer, I went with team 4 to Borneo and although it was very eventful it was also very entertaining. Some of the best moments for me are, our constant sunrise and sunset boat rides, seeing wild orangutans, our karaoke evening and sleeping in the hammocks. For the majority of our trip, we stayed in the jungle in camps only accessible by boat and we had two amazing guides while we were there. Another highlight was being able to go on the night walks and see all of the spiders and other odd insects.”  Maeve R
