For the fourth year running, the Diversity Ambassadors have put their enthusiasm and energy together towards a range of events to celebrate International Women’s Day.

This year the theme #AccelerateAction is encouraging us to do everything we can to achieve gender equity in a world free of bias, stereotypes, and discrimination. A world that’s diverse, equitable, and inclusive. A world where difference is valued and celebrated.

On Monday we organised a Bake Sale – the profits are going to the Endometriosis Society.

All year groups have had a main assembly delivered by staff and students on inspirational women and students in registration time have discussed the role some women – our mother, sister, grandmother, teacher, etc – have played in our life and their positive lasting legacy.
