On Wednesday 12th February, the Under 15 cricket team travelled to New Line Learning to compete in the Lady Taverners Mid Kent Cricket Competition. The girls had to face two other teams in order to progress to the County final. Their first match was against New Line Learning and despite a shakey start to their fielding, they managed to settle down and win the match after some great batting from the whole team.
After a break for lunch, the girls faced their final opposition, the Weald of Kent. The girls had clearly found their rhythm and after both innings, comfortably won the match. All players showed great skill and teamwork throughout and will now progress into the county final in April. Congratulations go to Abi, Eve, Megan, Tish, Milly, Beth, Dani, Rosie and Serena.
