We are very excited to have been invited by Maidstone Museum Foundation to collaborate with them as part of their efforts to raise the museum’s profile among young people. We will shortly be advertising for Museum Ambassadors, two from each Key Stage, who will liaise with the Museum to promote exhibitions and events within school and across the wider community. They will also get the opportunity to attend the Museum Foundation’s board meetings, and advise on ways in which the Museum can widen its appeal across a younger age range. The role will enable students to gain a number of valuable skills as well as playing an interesting part in shaping the future direction of this fantastic local resource. Please encourage students to put themselves forward!
